Our process begins with an in-depth consultation, during which we discuss your specific use case and requirements. Subsequently, we conduct thorough research into the applications you'll be utilizing, considering factors such as budget constraints and the desired lifespan of your system. We carefully select components that align with your budget and with current pricing* while also offering insights on scenarios where investing slightly more in certain parts may be beneficial for your use case. Our consulting services are available starting at $30, aimed at empowering you to embark on your computing journey with confidence. Following the consultation, you have the flexibility to either take our recommendations to your preferred builder or proceed with having the computer built by us, ensuring a seamless transition from planning to implementation. There are no extra charges or hidden fees, if you change your mind about certain constraints we view that as apart of the service and will tailor to those needs.

With our Consultation and Procurement plan, you will undergo a comprehensive discussion wherein we meticulously analyze your specific application needs, leaving no detail unexamined in outlining the precise requirements for your computer system. Subsequently, a meticulously crafted report is prepared and delivered to you, explaining the rationale behind every decision made. Depending on your level of familiarity with computers, I can tailor the discussion to provide explicit details on the functionality of individual components, their impact on performance, and my personal recommendations. Following the comprehensive reporting phase, we delve into the selection and procurement of components. Are aesthetics a paramount consideration for you? Do you seek a system with a visually striking appeal, perhaps featuring custom cables? Alternatively, if cost-efficiency is your priority, we can forgo flashy aesthetics in favor of budget-conscious options. Upon finalizing the component selection, you will receive an itemized list detailing the requested parts, associated costs, and labor expenses. Starting at $50 we will provide all consultation, you will not be charged extra if there are changes that you want to be made. You will receive the detailed report, itemized list of parts including current pricing* and any extra being provided such color matching parts and cables. Once you are ready to buy the computer you will be charged the amount for parts and $130 for the labor of building the computers. Most computer manufactures charge labor as a percentage of the total cost, which does vary but generally leaning for profits up to $200-$400 per system. We at Cruisey’s Computers will charge a fixed rate that is fair for building a computer.

As a small business startup there has been plenty of contemplation on what the warranty should be. I know the importance of having someone by your side when you need it the most. Cruisey’s Computers will offer two warranty options Basic and Pro.
Basic is provided for $100 at the time of purchase and includes all labor involved, although parts and shipping costs will be split 50/50 for 4 years with additional coverage being $100 extra per year.**
For the Pro Warranty Package it will be calculated out to 20% of the cost of computer and covers labor, parts, and shipping costs. For a $2000 computer the Pro Warranty will be $2400, I believe this is fair given the worst case scenario being the Graphics Card being minimum $400 with some models going for upwards of $1500. Pro Warranty will last 4 years will an additional $100 per year extension. **
*Prices of Computer Parts vary from day to day, when provided with the current price it is important to note that during certain parts of the year or just with supply and demand prices can change. It is recommended if price fluctuations can make or break your decision to price the computer out around the time you plan to purchase the computer. The goal being to update the current price before any money is spent to give customers the most accurate price possible.
**Warranty is 4 Years for Basic and Pro, with an additional $100 per year if you wish to extend. Extension plans are capped at 8 years.
